This boxed set is ideal for starting a new Imperial Knights collection – or expanding an existing army – to unleash in games of Warhammer 40,000, and save money compared to buying the kits separately. Two Armiger-class Knights scout ahead, fast and agile. Though smaller than other classes of Knight, they're still devastating war machines in their own right. The star of the show is a massive Knight Valiant, which can alternatively be built as a Knight Castellan – these colossal suits tower over the battlefield. They are ideal for representing a Freeblade Company Detachment – the rules for which are found in Eye of Terror: Reign of Iron – Detachments, available separately, and also on the Warhammer Community website.
This boxed set builds 3 multipart plastic Imperial Knights miniatures:
– 1 Knight Valiant (which can alternatively be built as a Knight Castellan)
– 2 Armiger Warglaives (which can alternatively be built as Armiger Helverins)
The miniatures in this box are easy to customise.
The Knight Valiant can alternatively be built as a Knight Castellan. They have the following weapon options:
– Knight Castellan: 1 plasma decimator, 1 volcano lance, and either 2 shieldbreaker missile launchers and 1 twin siegebreaker cannon, or 1 shieldbreaker missile launcher and 2 twin siegebreaker cannons
– Knight Valiant: 1 conflagration cannon, 1 thundercoil harpoon, and either 2 shieldbreaker missile launchers and 1 twin siegebreaker cannon, or 1 shieldbreaker missile launcher and 2 twin siegebreaker cannons
The Armiger Warglaives each have a choice of leg armour and face-plates, and can alternatively be built as Armiger Helverins. They have the following weapon options:
– Armiger Helverin: 2 Armiger autocannons, and either 1 Questoris heavy stubber or 1 meltagun
– Armiger Warglaive: 1 thermal spear, 1 reaper chain-cleaver, and either 1 Questoris heavy stubber or 1 meltagun
Contents:
– 320 plastic components
– 1 Citadel 170mm by 109mm Oval Base
– 2 Citadel 100mm Round Bases
– 1 Imperial Knights Transfer Sheet
